Divisioning

The competition starts with short matches
to divide players into fair groups.

The divisioning matches are played as best of 3 short sets
(first to 4 games).

Divisioning rules

• At 40–40, one deciding point is played (no-ad point).
• At 3–3 in games, a tiebreak to 7 points is played.
• At 1–1 in sets, a tiebreak to 7 points is played.
• Players change sides at the start of a new set.
  
• The results decide which group you will play in during the finals.

Matches

In the playoffs, matches are played as
best of 3 sets (first to 6 games).
At 6–6, a tiebreak (7 points) is played.
At 1–1 in sets, a deciding tiebreak to 10 points is played.

Players change sides after every odd-numbered game.
Short breaks of 60 seconds are allowed when changing sides.

About tennis

Tennis is a sport in which players stand on opposite sides of a net
stretched across the court.

Using a tennis racket, they take turns hitting a small ball over the net
and into the opponent’s side of the court.

A player who is unable to return the ball loses the point.
